The cruelty of Man is mind boggling!

Our wolves (and many other wildlife species) are in such peril.  How did man get so cruel, sport killing?    How could this be fun or even or exceptable in any culture.  It is proven that sport hunting (killing) weakens herds of their strongest gene pool, hunters like to take out the best for trophy’s.  Now lets add killing for corporate gain.

I have added some data from Defenders of Wildlife to show what is really happening.

More than 145,000 speak out against corporate sponsored wolf killing contests

Predator derbies awarded points and prizes for killing wolves and other wildlife

• More than 145,000 sign petition telling Cabela’s and Sportsman’s Warehouse to end their sponsorship of unsportsmanlike “predator derbies”
• Predator derbies are killing contests in which participants win points for bagging wolves and other wildlife
• The proceeds from these derbies went directly to funding anti-wolf litigation
• Attempts to place ads in Cabela’s hometown and neighboring towns in Nebraska were rejected due to “content,” – including The Omaha World Herald (Nebraska’s largest and most influential paper).

WASHINGTON  (Monday March 1, 2010) As of today, more than 145,000 people have joined Defenders of Wildlife in calling on Cabela’s and Sportsman’s Warehouse to end their sponsorship of predator derbies in which contestants in Idaho this winter vied to kill wildlife for points and prizes (and wolf kills fetched the highest points). A petition delivered over the weekend to the headquarters of both major outdoor retailers demands that both companies renounce their sponsorship of the unethical “predator derbies,” the proceeds of which were funneled to anti-wolf groups and litigation.

OK, Randall, as a man is there a reason men are more cruel than women? Is it biological? Or is it all about money? But then Sara Palin and her views on aerial killings of wolves or anything else that gets in the way of “hunting”. What do you think?

Thank you, it takes research so it could be a week before I post a new one. Plus if I am putting a new piece of art work it takes a little longer.

I’ve recently been a passionate supporter of your site for some time and not actually provided a single thing back, I really hope to alter that in the future with increased debate. Thanks for another new inclusion for the website.

Please forgive me:-( I will try to do better. The way I am feeling lately is Mother Earth is angery and Man just keeps up with greed and disregard. You would think The People would have more say, all we can do is keep on putting out the opposition. So if I do not reply it’s because Facebook, emails, new artwork and writing a new blog is what I am doing.
