What’s Ya Doin’

My friends Sally and Al have an acreage in Grundy County, Iowa for these beautiful Llama’s.  I wasn’t going to use watercolors for this project but I am so glad to branch out again. Took it to the San Fernando Valley Art Club meeting on Tuesday the second of Feb. ( art show every month). To my surprise!  I WON FIRST PLACE for the llamas!

I was so excited, so after that we have a raffle with great prizes like gift certificates from art stores and other useful “artsy” things. The biggest prize is a painting done by our Demo Artist which this month was David Deyell; he is an Impressionist Watercolor Landscape Artist. Well I won that too!!! What a great night I was having.  Too bad the lotto ticket wasn’t a winner. . . . . .
